Apart from suffering from migraines, there is also depression (mental illness) to deal with.
It is a struggle, but can be handled, which is a good will in so many ways.
A good life can be all the range, but a bad one can just be the same.
For what holds for us is many steps, the wrong one's we may take and the bad one's also.
From teenage years - nearly 10 years exact - there has been, mostly, trying to get around how to deal with migraines.
Most, have found is: strong smells, have to eat on time (breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea/supper), loud sounds and other things that has been discovered.
It helped to see the GP/Doctor. It helped to read up on it. It also helps to tell the employer before and during, working life - the workplace may adapt to health problems.
However, gradually the days pass, and it settles more easily to know and not to focus on it all the time. It helps to get on with what you are doing also (makes it less numbing, to not concentrate on it also).
For depression, as a mental illness, it is common to get caught up with: 1) Not being accepted into a workplace (job searching), to others such as, 2) May think you're a burden to everyone, including family that is looks like to them that you are 'not doing anything', and 3) Other issues like someone hurt you, or didn't help you or even debt, etc..
All I can say, is in my mind I know I am capable of settling my thoughts. But, it can be overshadowed sometimes, like it's not a good enough strength to go through and other things weighing you down, emotionally, physically and, mentally.
It took time, but I went to get help, and gradually got help. Thanks to them indeed (I liked the feedback part for them).
So, it takes little steps, but gradually, you can get there. And always remember, there is help at hand.
Although, there may be other things, there is always things out there to support and help to get things on a level again.
Thank you for reading,
