The Story of Icarus
One night Icarus was thinking about what his Dad said for his plan. The next morning Icarus and Daedalus went to the king.
He said "Get out of here, or one of my soldier will have my chicken and bang it on your heads.
"No I shall not!", said Icarus.
"Soldier bang them on their head now!", said the King.
So the soldier did it, then two soldiers carried them to the tower and threw them.
When they woke up Daedalus got on with his work making wings.
In the afternoon, Icarus and Daedalus put on his wings. Then they flew out the hole in the tower and they flew off.
Icarus's father Daedalus said, "Icarus! Stay near me or if you go near the sun, the glue will melt and the feathers will come off".
But Icarus didn't hear, so he was flying to the sun. Then the glue and feathers were falling off. Then Icarus was falling, he was going to fall in the water.
Icarus fell in the water and Daedalus got Icarus and flew back home to give him a towel. Daedalus gave him something to eat. And they went to the theatre."
